Occupation: media and communications advisor

How were your first introduced to Women in Thoroughbred Racing NT?

I was looking to get more involved in racing from a volunteer perspective, and came across this group’s website. I couldn’t not email them to put my hand up to help where I could.

Your favorite racing moment?

Countless weekends at Royal Randwick in the members stand with my dad and brother, backing winners and learning about the industry. I equally love racing fashion and the social side of racing.

What do you enjoy most about Racing in the NT?

It’s completely unique. From Alice Springs to Adelaide River, Katherine and Darwin, there is so much to look forward to through the year. The Darwin Cup Carnival is like nothing else, and it’s a great way to share the Top End with so many visitors who come to experience our lifestyle over the best part of the year.

What is your favorite event over Darwin Cup Carnival?

Ladies Day. Everything about Ladies Day encapsulates what I love about the races – champagne, racing, fashion, and friends. You really can’t get much better.
