How were you first introduced to Thoroughbred racing?

I lived on a Dairy farm in Western Australia, my father bred and trained his own racehorses. I began riding them from 12 yrs old and rode in amateur and ladies races.

Your favourite racing moment?

Every winner I train.

Mighty Maroon winning the Alice Springs Cup, Macca’s Dream winning the NT Derby and racing High Revs were all very special.

Number of winners in carreer?

Not sure of the number of winners, but my first winner was All Silent in August 1992.

What do you enjoy most about the racing industry?

The people you meet and friends you make; places it takes you and watching quality horses race.

Ambitions within racing?

To continue training winners.

If you could change one thing about the racing industry what would it be.

Darwin to race every week with higher prize money.

Palmerston Sprint Day.
