Successful Female Trainer

I was born in Central Australia and raised on a cattle station, where I started riding pretty much when I could walk.  We bred our own raceshorses on the station which first my grandfather, then my mother and uncle trained.

Although I was associated with racehorses from a very young age and was a natural lightweight (Back then I was at least) I never had any desire to become a jockey.

I loved riding and competing but was mad keen on camp drafting.

I first got my trainers license when I was 28 years of age.  My first starter was Better Western who won by about 4 lengths and was ridden by Paul Denton.

My career highlights include:

    • 2 Alice Springs Cups
    • 3 Chief Ministers Cup – Alice Springs
    • Pioneer Sprint _ Alice Springs

I currently commute between Adelaide and the Northern Territory.
